Star51, a new, homegrown British Brand, seeks to provide elegance, quality, and modesty in its girlswear garment designs. It specialises in dresses and headbands, each inspired by the classic looks of the 1950s, but with its own unique twist. We just love the polka-dot dresses and their matching headbands above.
Banayioda Kefalas is designer and co-founder of Star51. She has a passion for vintage clothing and is committed to helping the most vulnerable children in society. In fact, Star51 donates a percentage of its profits to Kids Company, a children’s charity organisation dedicated to supporting at-risk children. Kefalas' ultimate goal is to reintroduce innocence and purity to young fashion, one garment at a time.
Star51’s spring summer 2015 collection includes ready-to-wear dresses in a variety of styles, colours, and patterns for ages two to six years. Each dress is handmade in London with defining details, and of course, no garment is complete without its adorable matching headband. Star51 also has great customer service, with the option of adding embroidered letters and gift-wrapping the garments.
